GO is the mandate Jesus gave the church moments before He ascended to heaven. It's also the heartbeat of our call to missions here at Calvary as we serve, give, and minister together taking the Good News into our own city and around the world.
Acts 1:8 says, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." In other words, we have been called to reach out with the love of Jesus to our family and friends, to reach out to our province and nation, and finally to reach out and minister cross culturally with His heart and love for the world. Over the years our mission to actively reach those who are lost without Jesus has been critical to our vision.
Calvary Church has a long history of mission involvment around the world. From short term mission trips to sending and supporting full time missionaries abroad. We are proud to partner with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church in missions worldwide and are actively involved in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Israel, and most recently; church planting in Ukraine.
